I know this has been a hard time for many of you and I hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy. For those that have loved ones that are not well, my heart and highest thoughts go out to you. These are uncertain times and I want to let you know I am still here for you and miss you! I also want to let you know that telehealth is available to stay connected, keep you moving, functioning, and staying healthy.
Fortunately, we live in a world that makes video conferencing easy. Telehealth is a great way for you to get 1:1 treatment and advice while still continuing to keep social and physical distancing during Corvid-19 (Coronavirus).
Our governor, Jay Inslee, has made a proclamation mandating that insurance cover telemedicine (aka telehealth) the same way it would cover an in-person visit in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is fantastic! This will be in effect until May 31, 2020.
Please reach out to me if you are interested in scheduling a Telehealth visit: contactpt@thrivephysicaltherapyseattle.com
I am currently using doxy.me ( https://doxy.me/patients ) as a telehealth platform. It is easy to use on your phone, tablet, or computer, HIPAA compliant and does not require downloading anything.
Here is more information on the new mandates to cover telehealth for physical therapy.

Thank you for being such fantastic people, for considering this as an option, supporting my business, and trusting me as your physical therapist over the years! I hope to see you soon!
Be well,
Mari

A few helpful tips before your visit with me:
- Please bring in all completed “Patient Packet Intake Forms” items 1-5 to your first visit (down arrow from the Patient bar above). Thoroughly and thoughtfully completing this will help to make our time together more efficient and effective. Please review the detailed medical history form and feel free to bring in a printed list of current medications as well.
- The other forms are for reference and may be used at future date.
- Please refrain from wearing scented lotions or perfumes.
- Please bring or wear clothing so that I will be able to see the area being treated ie> shorts or loose pants that can roll up for knee, tank top for shoulder. I have gowns available for the spine.
To Access forms, please use the down arrow (under Patients above)>Patient registration forms. To save you time for your initial visit, please bring in completed Patient Intake Forms to your first visit.
Thank you! Please feel to email me with any questions.
